Hey guys! I’m Marc. I currently study Information Technology at Griffith University where I am enrolled as an undergraduate student.
I successfully completed the ‘Social Media & Digital Marketing’ Program in July 2015, and received 10 credit points from Griffith! I currently run my own computer repair business, but this program has given me a much deeper understanding of how to promote my business, and how to keep people highly motivated.
3 adjectives that best describe, if anyone was to ask me, are that I am passionate, honest and generous.
At Michigan State University, I was fortunate enough to be studying with 50 other highly motivated students. All of the field trips were amazing as they allowed us to meet and converse with many highly influential people. A main highlight was creating amazing bonds with new friends that I will cherish for a lifetime.
Overall, the exchange experience has shown me that there are many amazing opportunities available to all of us, we just need to set goals and focus on being the best we can be.
I would go back to Michigan a heartbeat! If money was not an option, I would love to complete my Masters at an international University. Thanks to the HECS Loan, it makes the financial burden much easier!
Firstly, there are a lot of college athletes at MSU, and they are treated like celebrities! In reality, they are just students taking part in an extracurricular activity.
Secondly, the Library of Congress is keeping an archive of every tweet ever tweeted, so Americans take their social media very very seriously! A tip: Think before you tweet (haha). Just have fun and enjoy the experience, as it will change your life.
It really is a must do for every student as it opens your eyes to different cultures and allows you to grow within yourself. You will also meet a plethora of amazing people and create lasting bonds.
What I miss the most, when looking back on all my memories, are Root beer, 24-hour deliveries, the laughs we had on the balconies in the dorms. In addition the amazing people I met and cannot hang out with them each day due to living in different cities/Countries, and learning from the amazing teaching team.
